Shifts
Morning 9:15 AM – 1:00 PM
Swing: 10:15 AM – 2:00 PM
Afternoon: 12:15 PM – 4:00 PM
Sign-in (and out) at Security.
Shifts start 15 minutes after the above sign in time. Guides are expected to remain actively in contact with museum visitors for the entire 31/2 hour shift, unless there is a physical hardship. (No shift includes a lunch break.)
Number of Scheduled Guides
The Museum Tour Coordinator on staff will assign the appropriate number of guides depending on the number of persons in the group. Generally, arrangements are made for:
- One guide per 30-35 adults
- One guide per 25 children in grades 4-12
