Guild Programs

Guild Programs Coordinator

The Guild Programs Coordinator is appointed by the Guild President and is a voting member of the Guild’s Board. The Coordinator oversees the following committees and provides liaison between the Board and the committees.

  • Guild Programs provides interesting and educational speakers for the monthly Guild meetings.
  • Heard Guild Travel plans, organizes, and conducts trips to places of interest to Guild members, primarily to areas in the Southwest. A Guild trip is a journey to an event, an interesting site, or a scenic location with at least one overnight stay. Guild trips are open to all Museum members, with Guild members receiving priority.
  • Heard Guild Explores plans and coordinates interesting and educational local day trips for Guild members and their guests.
  • Guild Holiday Brunch plans and creates a midday potluck meal to celebrate the holiday traditions of Guild members and acknowledge lifetime service by distinguished Guild members.
  • Staff Appreciation Lunch is the Guild’s formal tribute of appreciation for Heard Museum Staff, all of whom support our programs in many ways, and vice versa.
  • Hospitality for Katsina Doll Marketplace provides a continental breakfast and light lunch for the artist participants and their families at the Katsina Doll Marketplace.
