CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order by President Elect Mary Endorf 10:00 AM.
REMARKS: Mary welcomed new members attending their first meeting and guests. She thanked the Library Volunteers for providing refreshments. She also thanked everyone who volunteered at the Indian Fair and Market.
INTRODUCTION OF SPEAKER: David Rothberg introduced our speaker Barbara Mills, Professor of Anthropology at University of Arizona. Her presentation was called: “Reconnecting the Past. Network Approaches to Regional Interaction in Prehistoric Southwest,
After a short break, the meeting reconvened.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Ann Kelly Bunjer moved to approve the minutes of the February 18, 2015, Heard Guild general meeting. The motion was seconded by Phyllis Manning and approved by a majority.
TREASURER’S REPORT: There was no treasurer’s report as Mary Bonsall was not present.
ANNOUNCEMENTS: Mary Endorf reminded everyone that the Student Art Sale is scheduled for March 27-30. It will be open to members only during the day on Friday and that the Spring Luncheon will be held on Wednesday, May 6 at the JW Marriott.
Jackie Kemmer encouraged members to sign up the Pueblo Classes that will be held in April.
Sue Snyder reminded members about the Educational Council meeting and the tour with Ann Marshall.
Dorothy Starnes requested volunteers to sign up to help pack and wrap unsold art on Tuesday, March 31 from 10 am-4 pm so it can be returned to the student artists.
Mark Scarp announced that the Guild Volunteer Appreciation Dinner will be on April 23, 2015 from 5 pm-7:30 pm and will have an Old Hollywood theme.
NOMINATING COMMITTEE: Linda Hefter announced the slate of officers for 2015/2016. President: Susan Kolman, President Elect: Mary Endorf, Secretary: Claire Warshaw, Treasurer: Mary Bonsall. The election will be held at the Guild General Meeting on April 15. Stu Passon will chair the nominating committee for 2015/1016.
ADJOURNMENT: Rusty Hale made a motion to adjourn the meeting and Gloria Murison seconded the motion. The motion passed.
