Grants for Schools

Eligible Applicants

All teachers whose students have entered artwork in the 2022 Heard Museum Guild American Indian Youth Art Show & Sale are eligible.

Application Letter

The teacher should include a grant application along with the submission of student artwork to the American Indian Youth Art Show & Sale. The grant request must be specific as to what art supplies would be funded by the grant and how they would be used by the students.


The letter of application must be written and dated by the teacher and must include:

  • Size of school.
  • Grades in the school.
  • Number of students in your art classes.
  • Need and intended use of materials to be purchased with the grant money.
  • Indication of how previous student art show grant monies were used, if applicable.

The information in the letter may be used for publicity purposes by the Heard Museum Guild connected with the Youth Art Show & Sale.
