Scholarship Application Requirements

Students must satisfy the following requirements when applying for a Guild Scholarship.

A. Each applicant must submit three (3) pieces of artwork. Each piece should be labeled to indicate that the artist is applying for scholarship consideration. Any exception must be arranged with the Chair of the Show, Sidney Wilson, 480-529-7570.
B. Applicants must write an essay stating their need for the scholarship, their educational plans, and their career interests. Their student GPA should also be included.
C. The application must include written recommendations from two (2) teachers who are familiar with the applicant’s work and art accomplishments. Recommendations should address such character traits as leadership and creativity as well as the applicant's involvement in American Indian and community activities.
D. The applicant's home address and telephone number must accompany the entry.
