Southwest American Indians Short Courses

As part of its commitment to continuing education, the Heard Museum Guild presents several short courses each year. The aim of these classes is to enhance one’s respect for native peoples and to develop an appreciation of their art and culture.

The schedule for this year’s series of Short Courses is as follows:

Overview of Southwestern Tribes

The four half-day sessions focus on the Southwest and the first Americans who inhabited this land from prehistoric times to the 21st century. The aim of the course is to enhance one’s respect for native peoples and to develop an appreciation of their art and culture.
