Membership Services

The Guild Membership Services Coordinator is appointed by the Guild President and serves on the Guild Board. The Chair, assisted by at least one volunteer, oversees all aspects of the Guild membership:

  • solicits, accepts, and processes Guild memberships
  • updates and maintains Volgistics, the on-line database of all Guild volunteers and their service hours
  • prepares a welcome email and package to be sent to all new members
  • provides briefings for new members at Guild meetings
  • orders name badges
  • compiles the Guild roster for posting on the Guild website
  • at the end of the Guild year, compiles volunteer time records to determine candidates for service and special awards
  • maintains supplies in the Guild Room
