Library Book Sale & Treasures Market
Success
The 13th Annual Guild Book Sale & Treasure Market, all day January 29, 2010, was a great success. Thanks to our very generous treasure donors and great volunteers, the sale of books, dolls, pieces of jewelry and art, katsinas, and much more netted over $40,000.
Funds raised by the sale benefit special projects of the museum’s Billie Jane Baguley Library and Archives. The Library and Archives is a comprehensive research facility that includes information about indigenous art and cultures from around the world and an unparalleled resource file containing information about more than 24,000 American Indian artists.
